Week two for the One Room Challenge started off with a bang but ended with a bit of a whimper. I originally planned on painting the room a muted blue-green, just to break up all the pink.
However, the more I looked at the English inspired bedrooms I loved, the more I realized that they almost always included a monochromatic color scheme. So I ditched the blue-green idea and fell down a rabbit hole of blush and light pink paint colors. I want to stress that you have to test swatches in your own home before choosing a paint color. These roundups are a great jumping off point, but don’t pick a paint color blindly.
4) Opal – Benjamin Moore | 5) Middleton Pink – Farrow & Ball | 6) My Sweetheart – Behr Its a beautiful blush pink with warm undertones but isn’t too peachy.
